تَبَّتۡ يَدَآ أَبِي لَهَبࣲ وَتَبَّ﴿1﴾

111:1May the hands of Abu Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he

مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ﴿2﴾

111:2His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained

سَيَصۡلَىٰ نَارࣰ ا ذَاتَ لَهَبࣲ‏﴿3﴾

111:3He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame

وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلۡحَطَبِ﴿4﴾

111:4And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood

فِي جِيدِهَا حَبۡلࣱ مِّن مَّسَدِۭ﴿5﴾

111:5Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber
