وَٱلۡمُرۡسَلَٰتِ عُرۡفࣰ ا﴿1﴾

77:1By those [winds] sent forth in gusts

فَٱلۡعَٰصِفَٰتِ عَصۡفࣰ ا﴿2﴾

77:2And the winds that blow violently

وَٱلنَّٰشِرَٰتِ نَشۡرࣰ ا﴿3﴾

77:3And [by] the winds that spread [clouds]

فَٱلۡفَٰرِقَٰتِ فَرۡقࣰ ا﴿4﴾

77:4And those [angels] who bring criterion

فَٱلۡمُلۡقِيَٰتِ ذِكۡرًا﴿5﴾

77:5And those [angels] who deliver a message

عُذۡرًا أَوۡ نُذۡرًا﴿6﴾

77:6As justification or warning

إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعࣱ‏﴿7﴾

77:7Indeed, what you are promised is to occur

فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتۡ﴿8﴾

77:8So when the stars are obliterated

وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتۡ﴿9﴾

77:9And when the heaven is opened

وَإِذَا ٱلۡجِبَالُ نُسِفَتۡ﴿10﴾

77:10And when the mountains are blown away

وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتۡ﴿11﴾

77:11And when the messengers' time has come

لِأَيِّ يَوۡمٍ أُجِّلَتۡ﴿12﴾

77:12For what Day was it postponed

لِيَوۡمِ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ﴿13﴾

77:13For the Day of Judgement

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ﴿14﴾

77:14And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement

وَيۡلࣱ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ﴿15﴾

77:15Woe, that Day, to the deniers

أَلَمۡ نُهۡلِكِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ﴿16﴾

77:16Did We not destroy the former peoples

ثُمَّ نُتۡبِعُهُمُ ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ﴿17﴾

77:17Then We will follow them with the later ones

كَذَٰلِكَ نَفۡعَلُ بِٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ﴿18﴾

77:18Thus do We deal with the criminals

وَيۡلࣱ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ﴿19﴾

77:19Woe, that Day, to the deniers

أَلَمۡ نَخۡلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءࣲ مَّهِينࣲ‏﴿20﴾

77:20Did We not create you from a liquid disdained

فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ فِي قَرَارࣲ مَّكِينٍ﴿21﴾

77:21And We placed it in a firm lodging

إِلَىٰ قَدَرࣲ مَّعۡلُومࣲ‏﴿22﴾

77:22For a known extent

فَقَدَرۡنَا فَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡقَٰدِرُونَ﴿23﴾

77:23And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine

وَيۡلࣱ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ﴿24﴾

77:24Woe, that Day, to the deniers

أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ كِفَاتًا﴿25﴾

77:25Have We not made the earth a container

أَحۡيَآءࣰ وَأَمۡوَٰتࣰ ا﴿26﴾

77:26Of the living and the dead

وَجَعَلۡنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِيَ شَٰمِخَٰتࣲ وَأَسۡقَيۡنَٰكُم مَّآءࣰ فُرَاتࣰ ا﴿27﴾

77:27And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water

وَيۡلࣱ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ﴿28﴾

77:28Woe, that Day, to the deniers

ٱنطَلِقُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ﴿29﴾

77:29[They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny

ٱنطَلِقُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ ظِلࣲّ ذِي ثَلَٰثِ شُعَبࣲ‏﴿30﴾

77:30Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns

لَّا ظَلِيلࣲ وَلَا يُغۡنِي مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ﴿31﴾

77:31[But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame

إِنَّهَا تَرۡمِي بِشَرَرࣲ كَٱلۡقَصۡرِ﴿32﴾

77:32Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress

كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَٰلَتࣱ صُفۡرࣱ‏﴿33﴾

77:33As if they were yellowish [black] camels

وَيۡلࣱ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ﴿34﴾

77:34Woe, that Day, to the deniers

هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ﴿35﴾

77:35This is a Day they will not speak

وَلَا يُؤۡذَنُ لَهُمۡ فَيَعۡتَذِرُونَ﴿36﴾

77:36Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse

وَيۡلࣱ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ﴿37﴾

77:37Woe, that Day, to the deniers

هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِۖ جَمَعۡنَٰكُمۡ وَٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ﴿38﴾

77:38This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples

فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمۡ كَيۡدࣱ فَكِيدُونِ﴿39﴾

77:39So if you have a plan, then plan against Me

وَيۡلࣱ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ﴿40﴾

77:40Woe, that Day, to the deniers

إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي ظِلَٰلࣲ وَعُيُونࣲ‏﴿41﴾

77:41Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs

وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشۡتَهُونَ﴿42﴾

77:42And fruits from whatever they desire

كُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ هَنِيٓـَٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ﴿43﴾

77:43[Being told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do

إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ﴿44﴾

77:44Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good

وَيۡلࣱ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ﴿45﴾

77:45Woe, that Day, to the deniers

كُلُواْ وَتَمَتَّعُواْ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجۡرِمُونَ﴿46﴾

77:46[O disbelievers], eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminals

وَيۡلࣱ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ﴿47﴾

77:47Woe, that Day, to the deniers

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرۡكَعُواْ لَا يَرۡكَعُونَ﴿48﴾

77:48And when it is said to them, "Bow [in prayer]," they do not bow

وَيۡلࣱ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ﴿49﴾

77:49Woe, that Day, to the deniers

فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثِۭ بَعۡدَهُۥ يُؤۡمِنُونَ﴿50﴾

77:50Then in what statement after the Qur'an will they believe
