إِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ ٱنفَطَرَتۡ﴿1﴾

82:1When the sky breaks apart

وَإِذَا ٱلۡكَوَاكِبُ ٱنتَثَرَتۡ﴿2﴾

82:2And when the stars fall, scattering

وَإِذَا ٱلۡبِحَارُ فُجِّرَتۡ﴿3﴾

82:3And when the seas are erupted

وَإِذَا ٱلۡقُبُورُ بُعۡثِرَتۡ﴿4﴾

82:4And when the [contents of] graves are scattered

عَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسࣱ مَّا قَدَّمَتۡ وَأَخَّرَتۡ﴿5﴾

82:5A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱلۡكَرِيمِ﴿6﴾

82:6O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous

ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّىٰكَ فَعَدَلَكَ﴿7﴾

82:7Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you

فِيٓ أَيِّ صُورَةࣲ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَ﴿8﴾

82:8In whatever form He willed has He assembled you

كَلَّا بَلۡ تُكَذِّبُونَ بِٱلدِّينِ﴿9﴾

82:9No! But you deny the Recompense

وَإِنَّ عَلَيۡكُمۡ لَحَٰفِظِينَ﴿10﴾

82:10And indeed, [appointed] over you are keepers

كِرَامࣰ ا كَٰتِبِينَ﴿11﴾

82:11Noble and recording

يَعۡلَمُونَ مَا تَفۡعَلُونَ﴿12﴾

82:12They know whatever you do

إِنَّ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارَ لَفِي نَعِيمࣲ‏﴿13﴾

82:13Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure

وَإِنَّ ٱلۡفُجَّارَ لَفِي جَحِيمࣲ‏﴿14﴾

82:14And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire

يَصۡلَوۡنَهَا يَوۡمَ ٱلدِّينِ﴿15﴾

82:15They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense

وَمَا هُمۡ عَنۡهَا بِغَآئِبِينَ﴿16﴾

82:16And never therefrom will they be absent

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ﴿17﴾

82:17And what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense

ثُمَّ مَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ﴿18﴾

82:18Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense

يَوۡمَ لَا تَمۡلِكُ نَفۡسࣱ لِّنَفۡسࣲ شَيۡـࣰٔ اۖ وَٱلۡأَمۡرُ يَوۡمَئِذࣲ لِّلَّهِ﴿19﴾

82:19It is the Day when a soul will not possess for another soul [power to do] a thing; and the command, that Day, is [entirely] with Allah
